East Kalimantan, Sept. 1 -- Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) reported that five investors from Kazakhstan have offered their letters of intent (LoIs) to invest in the development of Indonesia's new capital.

"There are five (investors) that have delivered LoI out of 15 Kazakhstani investors that have explored investment potentials in Nusantara City," OIKN's director for investment and ease of business, Lazuardi Nasution, stated here on Monday.

Among sectors that Kazakhstani investors have indicated their interest in investing in are construction, transportation, information technology, artificial intelligence, and smart cities, he noted.
