Jakarta, Aug. 2 -- The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) is stepping up efforts to boost exports of agricultural commodities and products from micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) to Japan through strategic collaboration with partners.

Kadin Deputy Chair for Agriculture Devi Erna Rachmawati stressed that Japan remains a highly strategic market, citing strong demand for high-quality and environmentally friendly agricultural products.

To capitalize on the opportunity, Kadin's bilateral committee held a meeting with the Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center and Japanese business partners in Tokyo on July 31, according to a statement received here on Sunday.
