Jakarta, Sept. 4 -- The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) assessed that economic growth after demonstrations in various Indonesian regions must be accompanied by the government's concrete steps to carry out deregulation, especially in the labor sector.
Kadin Chairperson Anindya Bakrie, after attending a discussion event with the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs in Jakarta on Thursday, noted that the security situation is currently under control, thereby making business players more confident.
However, he continued, the next step that needs to be taken is ensuring policies that support economic growth can be realized immediately.
