Jakarta, Aug. 11 -- Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Minister Bahlil Lahadalia announced that national oil production in June reached 608,100 barrels per day (MBOPD), surpassing the state budget target of 605 thousand bpd.

"In 2025, the state budget target has been met, and this is the first time it has happened since 2008," Lahadalia stated at a press conference on the ESDM Ministry's first-half 2025 performance held in Jakarta, Monday.

Oil production in June 2025 reached 608.1 MBOPD, or 100.5 percent of the target. The average oil production for the first half of 2025 was 602.4 MBOPD, equal to 99.5 percent of the state budget target.
