Jember, East Java, Aug. 2 -- Representatives of tobacco processing companies from 11 countries, including the United States, Malaysia, Singapore, Ethiopia, China, and France, attended the Jember Cigar City Indonesia (JKCI) Festival.

"Thank God, JKCI 2026 has been an extraordinary success. It is part of our efforts to promote Jember as Indonesia's cigar capital," Jember District Head Muhammad Fawait said in a statement here on Sunday.

The two-day event, held from July 31 to August 1, 2026, showcased premium cigars produced from Jember's finest tobacco plantations.
