Jakarta, Oct. 8 -- Jakarta will leverage artificial intelligence (AI) technology in urban planning as slum revitalization works in Central Jakarta are targeted for completion by 2028, Governor Pramono Anung stated.

The governor said that his administration plans to revitalize 2.3-kilometer slum areas spanning over Kampung Bali, Kebon Melati, and Kebon Kacang villages in Tanah Abang Sub-district, Central Jakarta.

"I want the areas to be overhauled and rejuvenated. I want the works to be complete in 2028," Anung stated at a roundtable discussion on AI partnership between Indonesia and South Korea here on Thursday.
