Jakarta, March 2 -- The Governor of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung said family development plays a strategic role as a long-term investment and foundational capital, particularly as Jakarta transforms into a global city.

"The family is the primary foundation of social development. It is not merely the smallest unit in the social structure, but the main actor in building social resilience and ensuring sustainable development," Anung said in Jakarta on Monday.

He stressed that values such as compassion, education, and character building must be instilled within the family from an early age, making family development a strategic long-term investment and a basic pillar of development.
