Jakarta, Aug. 12 -- Indonesia and Peru have pledged to deepen cooperation in combating the trafficking of narcotics, psychotropic substances, and precursors, as stated in a joint declaration marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between both countries.
According to a press release from the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) in Jakarta on Monday, this commitment was formalized through the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Indonesia's National Narcotics Agency (BNN) and Peru's National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs.
