Jakarta, Aug. 20 -- Minister of Population and Family Development and Head of the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN), Wihaji, highlighted the importance of introducing national songs to children as a means to instill a sense of love for the homeland.
Speaking at the 80th Independence Day celebration at Taman Asuh Sayang Anak (Tamasya) in Jakarta, on Tuesday, he said that it's important to teach children about national and patriotic values such as the red and white flag, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), Pancasila, and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, from an early age.
