Indonesia, Aug. 24 -- A peace task force from the Infantry Battalion 521/Dadaha Yudha of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) distributed free, decent clothing to residents in Benawa, Yalimo District, Highland Papua, as part of efforts to build closer ties with local communities.

As quoted in a statement released in Jayawijaya District, Highland Papua Province, on Sunday, commander of the task force Lieutenant Colonel Rahadyan Surya Murdata noted that his team had consistently carried out such social missions to reach people living in the province's interior regions.

"We prioritize distributing wearable clothing to children and residents who are truly in need so that they can dress properly," he said.
