Jakarta, Sept. 29 -- Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Chairman Jusuf Kalla reaffirmed the organization's support for Palestine during a meeting with Grand Imam of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Sheikh Muhammad Ahmad Hussein on Monday.

Kalla said PMI, a humanitarian organization guided by neutrality and impartiality, would continue distributing aid to Palestinians.

"The PMI has a non-negotiable humanitarian mandate. Regardless of the political situation, we will continue to stand by the Palestinian people," Kalla said, according to an official statement.
