Jakarta, Sept. 26 -- Indonesian police have arrested and repatriated a key fugitive in an online gambling case following an international manhunt that led to his capture in Thailand, authorities said on Friday (September 25).

The suspect, identified only by his initials FP, was repatriated to Indonesia following a joint operation involving the Indonesian National Police, the Royal Thai Police, Interpol, and Indonesian and Thai immigration authorities.

"Through our cooperation with Thai authorities, we managed to arrest him and bring him back to Indonesia," Deputy Director of Cyber Crime at the Indonesian National Police's Criminal Investigation Department, Chief Commissioner Setyo Koes Heriyanto, said.
