Jakarta, July 28 -- Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) Marines and the United States Marine Corps (USMC) conducted a joint Mass Casualty Training (MASCAL) exercise in Hawaii on Sunday (July 26), simulating large-scale disaster responses to enhance tactical readiness and field efficiency.

The training took place as part of the multilateral Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2024 exercise, according to an Indonesian Navy press release issued on Tuesday.

Head of the Indonesian Navy Information Service (Kadispenal) Rear Admiral Tunggul confirmed in Jakarta that the training aimed to enhance the speed, precision, and accuracy of personnel in managing large numbers of casualties.
