Indonesia, Oct. 5 -- Deputy Minister of Tourism Ni Luh Puspa highlighted the significant economic impact of the 2025 Indonesian MotoGP held at the Mandalika Circuit in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, from October 3 to 5.

Puspa estimated that the Grand Prix's impact on the local economy could reach Rp4.8 trillion (roughly equivalent to US$280 million)

"This impact is extraordinary. Hotels were fully booked-my own team struggled to find accommodation," she said during a visit to the circuit on Sunday.

In addition to high hotel occupancy, Puspa noted that transportation services were also operating at full capacity.
