Jakarta, Aug. 14 -- Indonesia's Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, has highlighted the importance of cross-sectoral collaboration to boost the development of the creative economy in regions.

After inaugurating the board of directors of his ministry's new Civil Servants Organization (Korpri) in Jakarta on Thursday, Harsya noted that a joint decree on guidelines for establishing regional creative economy offices has been issued.

The joint decree, signed by Harsya and Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, has led to the establishment of creative economy offices in 19 provinces and 80 districts and cities.

Harsya said that institutional strengthening measures will not stop at the establishment of these offices.
