Jakarta, May 19 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection stressed the importance of cross-sector collaboration to protect children in the digital space.

"Given the complexity of issues in the digital space, we cannot work alone or rely on only one party. We must work together to protect children online," said Fitra Andika Sugiyono during an online seminar on Tuesday.

He said the government is responsible for ensuring children's access to the benefits of digital technology while protecting them from harmful online content and risks.
