Jakarta, Oct. 10 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Environment aims to expand cooperation with environmental groups to improve river conditions nationwide, including along the Ciliwung River and Cisadane River, which flow through Jakarta, Banten, and West Java.
"The Ciliwung and Cisadane Rivers have quite big communities caring for them. We will soon forge collaboration with such communities, as I believe it is nearly impossible for us to address river-related issues without them-they deserve recognition," Environment Minister Hanif Faisol Nurofiq stated.
