Jakarta, Sept. 29 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Elementary and Secondary Education has highlighted disparities in the quality of vocational instructors across the country.
"We cannot ignore the challenges we face, one of which is ensuring consistent quality of instructors as the backbone of courses and training," said Deputy Minister Fajar Riza Ul Haq during the launch of a training program for 1,100 vocational instructors in Jakarta on Monday.
He stressed that without skilled trainers, it is difficult to provide meaningful learning experiences and produce talent that meets industry needs. He cited uneven competencies and certifications, along with limited access to professional development in certain regions, as major issues.
