Jakarta, July 27 -- Indonesia's government has not yet proposed any candidates to replace Bank Indonesia Governor Perry Warjiyo, who has resigned from his post, acting Governor Destry Damayanti said on Monday.

"Not yet, not yet. We are simply following the applicable rules," Damayanti said at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Monday.

Under Indonesia's central bank law, the mechanism for appointing a new governor is stipulated in the Bank Indonesia Law. If a governor voluntarily resigns, the process of selecting a replacement begins in accordance with the applicable provisions.
