Jakarta, Oct. 30 -- The Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) Ministry highlighted its initiative to use solar energy as an alternative, eco-friendly power source for operating several base transceiver stations (BTS) in Indonesia's disadvantaged, frontier, and outermost (3T) regions.
"In several regions, we have begun to use energy sources other than electricity from PLN, such as solar energy," Komdigi Ministry's Expert Staff for Social, Economic, and Cultural Affairs Raden Wijaya Kusumawardhana noted.
