Jakarta, Oct. 8 -- The government envisions the newly launched Garuda School program as a strategic means to nurture quality, competitive human resources, according to Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto.
"This initiative is expected to generate excellent human resources that can compete with talents from other countries," he remarked at a press conference during the program's introduction at M.H. Thamrin Top High School in Jakarta on Wednesday.
The minister highlighted that Garuda School is one of the quick-win programs of President Prabowo Subianto, designed to help Indonesian students become competent researchers and industrial practitioners.
