Jakarta, Feb. 23 -- The Indonesian Food and Beverage Association (GAPMMI) said the outcome of Indonesia-United States trade negotiations helps maintain market stability and enhance export competitiveness.

GAPMMI Chairman Adhi Lukman said business certainty and a stable climate are essential for industrial sustainability.

"For the food and beverage sector, certainty also depends on the availability and sustainability of raw materials, particularly inputs not yet fully supplied domestically," Lukman said on Monday.

He said government-led negotiations could open alternative sources of industrial raw materials, supporting downstream food production and investment realization.
