Bandung, July 29 -- Deputy Minister of Industry Faisol Riza has called on the national textile industry to strengthen its competitiveness through corporate restructuring, increased investment, and wider adoption of technology to better compete in the global market.

He said strengthening the industry requires more than increasing production capacity. It must also be supported by greater investment, research and development, and the adoption of modern technologies.
