Jakarta, July 30 -- Indonesia is calling for firm and concrete action to end the long-standing occupation of Palestine and establish an independent, sovereign Palestinian state.

According to a written statement from the Foreign Affairs Ministry on Wednesday, this message was delivered by Indonesian Deputy Foreign Minister Arrmanatha Nasir at the International Summit on the Implementation of the Two-State Solution at the UN Headquarters in New York on July 29, 2025.

At the conference, Indonesia emphasized three main steps toward achieving the Two-State Solution, with the first being that recognition must be strategic, not merely symbolic.
