Jakarta, Oct. 26 -- The governments of Indonesia and Turkiye have agreed to expand cooperation in civil aviation to strengthen connectivity, thereby opening new avenues for mutually beneficial tourism and trade activities.

Air Transport Director at Indonesia's Transportation Ministry, Agustinus Budi Hartono, led the Indonesian delegation during a bilateral aviation meeting in Istanbul, Turkiye, on October 22-23, according to a statement cited here on Sunday.
