Jakarta, Nov. 5 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in coordination with the Ministry of Health, will implement stricter health screenings for prospective Hajj pilgrims in line with new Saudi regulations for the 2026 pilgrimage.
Minister Mochamad Irfan Yusuf emphasized that health checks will begin at the earliest stages to ensure only those "truly healthy, in good health, and physically and mentally prepared" are allowed to depart.
