Jakarta, March 5 -- Indonesia's Forestry Minister Raja Juli Antoni stated that the government will reconnect fragmented corridors for Sumatran elephants in Riau Province to protect natural migration routes and support the species' long-term survival.

Antoni noted that restoring these corridors is crucial to maintaining ecological balance and ensuring the sustainability of the endangered population.
