Kendari, SE Sulawesi, Sept. 16 -- Indonesia's immigration authorities will deport three Chinese nationals on September 17 after discovering that they violated residence permit terms by working illegally at a project site in Southeast Sulawesi's North Konawe district, officials said.

"They will be deported on September 17, 2026, through Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in coordination with immigration officials there," Southeast Sulawesi Immigration Office Head Azwar Anas said at a press conference in Kendari on Wednesday.

The suspects-identified by their initials GY, WL, and CF-were apprehended following a public tip received via the office hotline on Sept. 10.
