Jakarta, Oct. 28 -- Indonesia's Manpower Minister Yassierli said the 2026 provincial minimum wage (UMP) formula will take into account decent living standards, as required by a Constitutional Court (MK) ruling.
Speaking at a media briefing in Jakarta on Tuesday, he said the process of drafting the regulation is ongoing and involves social dialogue with stakeholders.
"The National Wage Council (Depenas) is still working on it. We've received many inputs from labor unions and worker associations. All of these will contribute to finalizing the regulation," Yassierli said, without disclosing the projected increase.
