Jakarta, Aug. 3 -- The Executive Board of the Indonesian Tennis Association (PP PELTI) has launched the 2026 Indonesia Tennis League to provide senior athletes with more match experience and continuously nurture the country's next generation of players.

Secretary-General of PP PELTI Andi Fajar said that in its inaugural season, the competition will feature five events: four regular series and one Masters series.

"This tennis league is a continuation of last year's Pro Tennis League. We are organizing five series this year, and hopefully, there will be even more in 2027," Fajar told ANTARA by phone here on Monday.
