Jakarta, Oct. 1 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has set a target to finalize the calculation of the Hajj Organizing Cost (BPIH) for the 2026 pilgrimage season by November 2025.

"Our hope is to determine the BPIH value in November, so that Indonesian prospective Hajj pilgrims can immediately pay their share and we can promptly begin all preparatory steps," Hajj and Umrah Minister Mochammad Irfan Yusuf stated.

Speaking in Jakarta on Wednesday, he noted that Indonesia had secured a Hajj quota of 221 thousand pilgrims for 2026, the same as this year's allocation. The quota consists of 203,320 regular pilgrims and 17,680 special pilgrims.
