Jakarta, Oct. 8 -- State-owned aviation and tourism holding company PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia-known as InJourney-aims to generate an economic impact of nearly Rp5 trillion (approximately US$279.33 million) from the upcoming Mandalika MotoGP event in West Nusa Tenggara.

Scheduled for October 9-11, 2026, the 2026 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia marks the fifth consecutive year the world championship event has been hosted at Mandalika since its debut in 2022.

"The Mandalika MotoGP is about more than just three days of racing; we are building a legacy for Indonesia," InJourney President Director Maya Watono said in a statement released on Thursday.
