Jakarta, July 11 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Creative Economy explored a strategic partnership with shopping center operator Lippo Malls Indonesia to boost talent development, expand market access, and strengthen local intellectual properties (IPs).

As quoted in a statement on Saturday, Creative Economy Deputy Minister Irene Umar noted that fostering "a sustainable ecosystem for the creative economy" requires sound collaboration between the government and the private sector.

"Shopping centers can serve as a melting pot of creative talents, communities, industries, and residents, providing broader space for Indonesian creative works to grow and generate added value to the economy," she said.
