Jakarta, Aug. 14 -- Indonesia voiced its support for an international push demanding that nuclear-armed nations provide advance warning before testing long-range ballistic missiles, warning that unannounced launches heighten the risk of catastrophic military miscalculation.

The endorsement follows a joint appeal issued at the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva, where 41 nations urged global powers to uphold strict transparency protocols ahead of missile tests.
