Jakarta, Aug. 5 -- Indonesia condemned Israel's continued military attacks on Gaza, saying strikes on civilians and infrastructure violate international law, undermine the Gaza ceasefire, and deepen the humanitarian crisis facing Palestinians.

Indonesia's Foreign Ministry said in a statement on X on Wednesday that the attacks deliberately obstruct implementation of the Gaza Peace Plan and worsen the suffering of the Palestinian people.

Jakarta urged Israel, as a party to the ceasefire agreement, to immediately and permanently halt military operations and fulfill all commitments under the truce in accordance with international law.
