Jakarta, March 4 -- Indonesia is prioritizing advanced defense and cybersecurity systems in building its future capital, Nusantara, in East Kalimantan, alongside physical infrastructure projects to ensure resilience against conventional and digital threats.

"Nusantara will emerge as a source of pride for us all with quite a vast area. As the seat of government, this city will be supported by advanced defense and security systems, in line with national interests," Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Djamari Chaniago said on Tuesday (March 3) during a site visit.
