Jakarta, July 31 -- Indonesia is strengthening its position as a trusted destination for green investment through the implementation of the Carbon Unit Registration System (SRUK), Environment Minister and Environmental Control Agency Head Muhammad Jumhur Hidayat said.

In a press release issued in Jakarta on Friday, Jumhur described SRUK as a key instrument for strengthening the credibility of Indonesia's carbon market by enabling the country to accurately measure carbon emissions reduction efforts.

"By establishing a registry system that is transparent, interoperable, and backed by legal certainty, Indonesia is strengthening its position as a credible destination for green investment," he said.
