Jakarta, Aug. 1 -- Indonesia has strengthened the competencies of Asia-Pacific aviation safety inspectors through an International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) training program aimed at improving civil aviation certification and safety oversight in line with international standards.

The 15-day International Civil Aviation Organization Government Safety Inspector Airworthiness Air Operator and Approved Maintenance Organization Certification (GSI-AIR) Course concluded in Jakarta on Friday, bringing together 16 inspectors from 10 Asia-Pacific economies.
