Jakarta, Sept. 24 -- Deputy Tourism Minister Ni Luh Puspa stressed that the Indonesian government continues to strengthen the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in developing the event tourism and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector.

"We are entering the tourism 5.0 era, where technology, AI, big data, and the internet of things have become important parts of creating a more personal and relevant tourism experience," Puspa said at the Indonesia Tourism & MICE Outlook 2027 event here on Thursday.
