North Penajam Paser, Oct. 6 -- The Indonesian government has allocated around 62.9 hectares of land for the development of a diplomatic compound in the new capital Nusantara, East Kalimantan.

Deputy for Planning and Land Affairs at the Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN), Mia Amalia, said on Monday that the project is being coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The ministry will relay development details to foreign embassies.

She noted that the compound will include residences, schools, commercial zones, and green spaces designed to support diplomatic activities in a comfortable, sustainable setting.
