Yogyakarta, Sept. 12 -- The National Police on Friday inducted 150 personnel joining the newest batch Garuda Bhayangkara contingent for the United Nations stabilization mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA).

Brigadier General Untung Widyatmoko, head of the National Police International Relations Division, stated that the induction signifies the officers' readiness for deployment in the 8th Formed Police Unit (FPU) under MINUSCA.

"The 150 personnel comprise 124 male and 26 female officers who participated in the ceremony," Widyatmoko said in a statement on Friday.

The ceremony on Parangtritis Beach, Yogyakarta, concluded pre-deployment drills conducted in Bantul and Gunungkidul districts from September 6 to 11, 2026.
