Indonesia sees strong growth potential in Mexico trade
Mexico City, June 13 -- Indonesian Ambassador to Mexico, Toferry Primanda Soetikno, stated that the economic relationship between Indonesia and Mexico has enormous potential for continued growth.
"Currently, the value of trade between the two countries has reached US$4.6 billion, and Indonesia recorded a trade surplus of US$2.8 billion," Soetikno said in Mexico City on Friday local time.
Although the figure is relatively large, Soetikno continued, the potential is much greater.
"Mexico is currently in trade negotiations with the United States, and a decision will be made by July 2026," said the Ambassador, who began his assignment in Mexico seven months ago.
