Jakarta, Aug. 11 -- Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto has proposed raising the target for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) disbursement to Rp2,000 trillion from the current level of around Rp1,500 trillion.

"This is an additional task for Mr. Maman (the MSME Minister). Hopefully it can be raised to Rp2,000 trillion," Hartarto said at the 2026 MSME Finance Summit here on Tuesday.

As of June 2026, outstanding MSME credit stood at Rp1,519.1 trillion, growing around 1.05 percent year-on-year (yoy), up from 0.60 percent (yoy) in May 2026.
