Jakarta, Aug. 9 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs has launched public consultations to refine the Draft White Paper on the National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Roadmap and the Draft Concept of AI Ethics Guidelines.

"The public consultation aims to gather feedback and input from relevant stakeholders," the ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

The white paper forms part of the government's broader effort to accelerate the adoption of AI in an inclusive, sustainable, and responsible manner.

A total of 443 representatives from government institutions, academia, industry, civil society organizations, and the media have participated in the AI roadmap task force and contributed to its development.
