Indonesia seeks platform accessibility for visually impaired groups
Jakarta, Oct. 7 -- The Ministry of Social Affairs reaffirmed its commitment to accommodating feedback from visually impaired groups and coordinating with the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs to ensure screen-reading features are integrated across national digital platforms.
Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf said in Jakarta on Wednesday that the ministry is stepping up discussions with disability associations to adapt technological advancements for vulnerable groups.
"We are continuing our discussions with disability associations, including those for the visually impaired. We will gather their input and adapt the technology accordingly," Saifullah said.
