Jakarta, Aug. 26 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Trade has reported that the Indonesian Pavilion at Gamescom 2025 generated potential transactions worth up to US$17.07 million during the gaming exhibition in Cologne, Germany, on August 20-22.
Trade Minister Budi Santoso said the achievement highlights the competitiveness of Indonesia's gaming industry and could significantly contribute to its growth.
"If realized, this potential could boost the revenue of the local gaming industry by around 40 percent. Last year, the industry generated Rp700 billion (approximately US$45.3 million)," Santoso said in a statement on Tuesday.
