Jakarta, Aug. 14 -- President Prabowo Subianto said on Friday that Indonesia's Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) helped save Rp112 trillion (about US$6.2 billion) in state funds through audit recommendations in 2025, underscoring its role in overseeing public spending.

"Throughout 2025, recommendations from BPK audit findings resulted in state financial savings of Rp112 trillion," Prabowo said in his State of the Nation Address at the 2026 Annual Session of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) and the Joint Session of the House of Representatives (DPR) and Regional Representatives Council (DPD) at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta.

Prabowo said BPK's oversight was aimed at ensuring that public funds were used properly and efficiently.
