Jakarta, Aug. 6 -- Indonesian Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka on Thursday inspected post-disaster recovery efforts in Aceh Province, focusing on reconstruction of the Krueng Tingkeum Bridge to ensure work remains on schedule and restore public mobility.

According to an official statement, Raka visited the bridge project in Kuta Blang Sub-district, Bireuen District, on Thursday.

The Krueng Tingkeum Bridge is a key transport link supporting mobility and economic activity in Bireuen District.

An emergency bridge currently allows alternating one-way traffic, while the visit aimed to accelerate completion of the permanent bridge and restore normal traffic flow.
