Jakarta, Aug. 3 -- Indonesia's transmigration policy transformation won Chinese support, with Ambassador Wang Lutong pledging assistance in regional and village development and poverty eradication sectors.

"We hope China-Indonesia relations continue to develop through mutually beneficial collaboration for our prosperity," Wang stated in his remarks to send off participants of the 2026 Patriot Expedition by Indonesia's Transmigration Ministry in Jakarta.

According to the Ministry's statement received here on Monday, the Chinese envoy said the Patriot Expedition reflected Indonesia's commitment to balanced regional growth and prosperity in areas targeted for transmigration.
