Jakarta, Oct. 4 -- The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) has held an interfaith prayer gathering ahead of its 80th anniversary celebration, which falls on Sunday, October 5.

The event took place at the National Monument (Monas) Square in Jakarta on Saturday, led by religious leaders from six official religions.

They included Ustadz Adi Hidayat and Ustadz Yusuf Aman (Islam), Father Yos Bintoro PR (Catholic), Rev. Arlyanus Larosa (Protestant), Pinandita Astono Chandra Dana (Hindu), KRT Asun Gotama (Buddhist), and Js Ruysya Supit (Confucianism).

Each leader offered prayers for the smooth anniversary celebration and for the continued strength and protection of TNI personnel.
